What is Teddy G and the Groove? In a word: unique. Whatever your preconceived notion might have been about music or the steelpan instrument, this band doesn't care. Prepare to visit the unknown and have your mind blown. This group was formed to explore new musical avenues and create an exciting new future of what can be.
Formed in 2017, the group almost didn't happen, with members too busy to join, with work, family or other projects getting in the way. Then they recorded their first two tracks, "Wizards" and "The Next Room," which got the train running. From then on, the band began work on its debut album. Genres include rock, pop, jazz, fusion, film score, and various world music elements mixed in.
There's no doubt that time is precious and there's a lot to see in this world. So we won't waste your time with false promises. If you listen to our music or come see us live, you will get a mind-blowing experience like no other - and that's a promise.
